looking back @ 2011

Hello (:

Okay, we have about 26 hours left of this year. It feels pretty surreal to have yet another year pass you by like that, and scarier when coupled with the fact that I have to take my national exams next year, that I am graduating yet again, although it feels like I just left SAPS not too long ago. But well here is a month-to-month reflection of the year that will soon pass. (I'm going to quote from my blog archives also, they help a lot when it comes to things like these! HAHA)

So when I found out I was being placed in 3I 2011, I didn't have very strong feelings about that. Like, I think I was fine with my class? I wasn't exactly ecstatic, but I wasn't upset with the people in it as well. The first few weeks in school, I spent it with my 2I pals. Like we would have some mini-reunion every morning, I think we all had withdrawal symptoms. I was getting used to Sec 3 syllabus, and coming to realise that our lower sec teachers were not kidding when they went "You'll learn this in Sec 3"
"I'm soooooooo tireeeeedddddd of being in upper sec. Like both figuratively and literally. Our homework no longer comes in handfuls, now its PILES, my math homework is virtually never done because we get new homework everyday, and there's so many school commitments."
I think at the beginning of the year I was bombarded with quite a lot of stuff. Like there was our LTC project, P1 PICNIC YAAWWW, the responsibility of being a good class chair, and also getting used to upper sec, which really is a culture shock as compared to lower sec. So I think I was quite stressed out. January is also when we usually get our off day, HAHAHA for good O level results. Its scary to think that we're the next batch doing our Os already. Hmmm :/ Anyway, I think I was beginning to have fun with lessons HAHA
Pervy Lit lesson today. Our entire class is so innocent. Nicole and I were laughing like bang table omg level, then the rest of our class was like neutral/blur face. HAHAHAHA. Mrs Choo was like, "The perverts in this block, the innocent in this one and the neutral in that one." Hahaha oh my goodness. C: So grossss. HAHAHA. "The male needs to be AROUSED. SOMETHING needs to STAND" phffffffffffff HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA.
What else did we do in January! Ah, volleyball! I remember all those bruises I got on my wrists from whacking the ball repeatedly against them. HAHA. A big part of my january was spent staying back with Nat + the rest of my P1 Picnic comm bring our project to completion. And I really really enjoyed the entire process. I think through this project, my wanting to become an SL just like increased A LOT HAHAH.
Stayed back for briefing P5s/P6s and trials for them! Omg P5s/P6s or ie, Primary SLs are REALLY REALLY CUTEEEEEE. HAHAHAHA they're super funny la, they told me they wanted to run in the rain with me to get the equipment and one of them's Alisha's sister! And there's this really cute girl called... EMMA. YEAH. And this girl that bet I couldn't spell her name. Her name was Daphne. Honestly I DO know how to spell Daphne. Its easy lor HAHAHAHAH. They were telling us about their P1 buddies from this/last year! Hahahaha yeyyyy. Omg when Ms Ng was trying to intro all of us, she missed all of the rests' names except for Nat and mine. And she was like "I only remember them because remember Natalie's in my form class and Edlyn's a bit... Nevermind." LOLOL -___-.
*
Omg I'm honestly rather excited and nervous for P1 Picnic tomorrow because all our prep finally boils right down to this! OOO: And there are so many people in school tomorrow! Going for CIP early in the morning have no idea what I'm doing but anywayyyy KRISTIN'S COMING TO DO WITH ME HAHAHAHA WENGLIN AND NIKISO ARE DOING TOO YAYYYYY! :D (L). Despo for CIP anyhoozzzzleee.
*
Also, I realise I posted this GIF in January. I NOW REALISE THAT THIS IS FROM BLACK SWAN HAMANA HAMANA. WHEN SHE WAS HALLUCINATING THAT SHE WAS WITH MILA KUNIS BUT SHE WASN'T WITH MILA KUNIS SO SHE WAS ACTUALLY DOING EXPLICIT THINGS TO..... HERSELF. HAMANA.

On a whole, January was a very memorable month (:

Then we go ahead to February.
Chinese New Year! ~ It was a good time going around relatives' houses eating my heart out, HAHA SRSLY. Even though I spent half my CNY studying - I carried around my LON notes to memorise and also I did all my homework on the second day because that is the day I spend entirely at my grandma's. So I hid out at the study to do my homework with my cousin. (:
This month, I missed the Taylor Swift concert only because I was too wimpy to ask my parents if they could sponsor the 100+$ tickets for me to go watch her. So on the night of her concert, I sat at home reading updates about her concert via tumblr and being very upset with myself for not going. HAHAHA. That was also the last night before I went on my 2 week hiatus before CT1.
This month, we had our post-mortem online (because Ms Ng was too lazy to go to school HAHAHA NO KIDDING) and it was really quite fun, woweee, my first post mortem! :-) Yup so P1 Picnic came to a close, and from then on I could only wait to see what God had in store for me, whether I was to become an SL or not. I didn't really have my hopes up yet back then, because I wasn't sure what would happen or how things would turn out. But you guys, BETA, were a wonderful bunch, a really great group to work with as I started my long journey as an SL :-)
HAHA. Anyway, thank you thank you THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH, BETA, for all the random things, all the planning, all the panicking, all the random ideas and all the laughter and fun and comm meetings and expensive sandwich machines, I love you guys, thank you for all that we've been through. Even though it rained, even though the parents may have been annoying HAHAHA, even if some things didn't go according to the plan, even though we were sooo tired after the picnic, we did the best we could, and you know what?, we did well. We did AWESOME, and I loved being your co-I/c, as much as my beloved blurhead yet very responsible and awesome SIGNIFICANT OTHER HAHAHAHA Nat loved bing your I/C, and I really appreciate everything we've put into the project. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you guys so much for the ride. (';

March began with a trending war between the Singapore schools. And I, with much school pride, played an active part thinking up some tweets myself, but mostly retweeting others :-)
FULL ON INTER-SCHOOL TWEET WAR HAHAHHAHHA.
#mgisthebest #mgisthebest #mgisthebest #mgisthebest #mgisthebest #mgisthebest #mgisthebest #mgisthebest #mgisthebest #mgisthebest #mgisthebest #mgisthebest #mgisthebest #mgisthebest #mgisthebest #mgisthebest #mgisthebest #mgisthebest #mgisthebest and you know it man. HAHA ;) Heheheh best tweets ever, SHOULD TOTALLY START TRENDING RIGHT ABOUT NOW (;
I think I did not too bad for my first common test. I could excuse myself for my bad grades nonetheless, as it was my first common test being an intense upper sec girl. (: I remember being very happy for scraping a pass for chinese. HAHAHA.
March 18th. The day we got our ROCs3 destinations, and the day that horrible earthquake + tsunami struck Japan, leading to a few tumultuous months for the Japanese as they dealt with coping with the aftermath of the disaster, as well as the Fukushima Nuclear Plant incident that would shortly follow. But anyway, at the nearly-exact same time we got our destinations, disaster struck Japan.
Its the start of the holidays, but today was rather depressing ): They released our ROCs destinations today, and I got a blue form. Which means that I didn't get into any of my three choices. No Cambodia, no Japan, NO EASTERN EUROPE. So like I cried like mad for about half an hour straight, but today I really felt a lot of love (: Thank you to all the people who comforted me and told me it was alright, and who cheered me up so much (:
Yup so I didn't make the first cut for EE and I was so disappointed. I cried and cried it was quite embarrassing and spoilt of me, but everyone cheered me up, even Mrs Loh during CCA HAHA. But when I went home and whatsapped Mrs Lau about it i almost cried again HAHAHA. But that was such a long time ago, and I thank God for the opportunity that I had to go in the end. (:
I love you guys, Claris, who was there with me when we got sort of rejected. Megan, I hope you feel better now like me. Jui, thank you (: For Wong, who was somehow there in the chapel before we left and gave me a big hug. (: Nicole, Jiayi, & Reenah, I love you guys so much, thank you for caring, going back with me to class, packing my bag and comforting me and helping me get to Infocomm in one piece. For all your tweets and texts (: For my darling infocomm clique, who cheered me up so much by passing weird comments and making me laugh. Mrs Loh, who told me that I can't get everything I want and deterred me from crying by threatening to take pictures. Tabel, for making me smile sitting with me. For Lizzie (sachikotan) who texted me and made me smile and is MSN-ing me now c: For Lizthio, who texted me to tell me the system for ROCs was screwed up and making me feel better (: Kristin, for texting me too (: For Mrs Lau who cheered me up so much by talking to me because that works all the time, love you c: Sarah & Christy for your super sweet tweets. Nicc, for texting me about my tweets c':
And I guess I really felt blessed despite the news I received that day, because there were so many people who were there to comfort me (':
BANDAGE (: I went with Lizzie, and it was sooooooo fun. Before the actual concert, Mrs Lau, Liz & I walked around the school, it was so funny. The performances for bandage were so good as well, and our gallery seats, although cheaper, turned out to be better because Liz and I were so short if we were to sit downstairs, we probably would not have seen the acts. HAHAHA, after bandage we were lalala-ing around as well. :-) It was so fun. And I'll NEVER forget Mrs Lau going: "I'm a bouncer! BOUNCE BOUNCE *and she bounced*" AHAHAHHAHA <3

To my favorite teacher, who told me never give up. To my 5th grade crush, who I thought I really loved. To the girls I missed, and the guys we kissed. To my ex-best friends, don't know how we grew apart. To my favorite band, and sing-alongs in my car. To the face, I see in my memories. To my first boyfriend, I thought for sure was the one. To my last boyfriend, sorry that I screwed it up. To the ones I loved, but didn't show it enough. To the ones who cared, and who were there from the start. To the love that left, and took a piece of my heart. To the few who'd swear, they'd never go anywhere.

We also had our ROCs3 Fundraiser! I had so so so much fun making chin chow + hotdogs with 3I (: I think we had such a good concept HAHAHA, and also, we busked! Had so so much fun! (: Even though by the time I got home I was dying. BUT YES, we raised so much money, and we were so proud of ourselves, so that day really paid off, and I hope it went a long way with our trips (that we have already went on HAHAHA)

Hehehehe <3

April was a month of extreme heartache (AHAHAH), and it was also the month I began to fall in love with ANTM. I started watching cycle 16 right about this time, and I got entirely hooked onto ANTM, I would watch 2 episodes a day (because I started watching when cycle 16 was halfway through I think!) AND I NEVER REGRETTED WATCHING ANTM EVER SINCE HEHEHE. Ya la so I went a bit mental with ANTM then. :-)
LMAO MY HYDROGEN PEROXIDE JOKE (not mine la of course but HAHAHA I couldn't stop telling it)
Taboo word of the day: Hydrogen Peroxide. Or H202. Or H20 too. Or chemists in restaurants. Or waiters. HAHAHAHAHAHHA. I'm sorry. The joke is super cool okay. Hehehe. Told it to Mrs Lau and Reenah today c: And Wong and I couldn't stop laughing when we were doing this question that involved the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide during chem (:
WE HAD CROSS COUNTRY! Okay, I really like cross country, its quite fun. This year was when they combined X with 2.4, so I finally took it seriously and ran my heart out, seriously, I thought I was gg to die HAHAHA. Ya okay so I remember X Country very distinctly this year as well because of what happened. Well yup. I remember going to Mrs Lau when I saw. HAHAHA (':
"Mrs Lau! What house are you in!"
"BLACKMORE!"
(Megan comes pops out of nowhere and screams) "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!"
*
Ran with Kristin! (: Oh gosh was dying along the way but felt really touched when the teachers were like "Go girls! Almost there!" and hahahah Mrs Choo was like "Go edlyn!!!" and Ms Ng was like "Keep it up, edlyn!" hehehe really helped (: okay so along the way I wanted to die because i was so tired and there was uphill and downhill but Kristin and I promised to each other that WE WON'T STOP!(: At 1.2km, "Keep it up girls, only halfway more!" *dies* Ran with Kristin till the very end! Sucks that they didn't tell us our timing and I forgot my watch. ):
Kristin got 21st place whereas I got 22nd! I THINK (: GOOD JOB MY RUNNING BUDDY HAHAHAHAHA.

LMAO LMAO LMAO THIS HAHAHAHHA

In April, I sat next to Wong (': It was so fun, I think I was the closest to her at this time, HAHAHA, we had so much fun during lessons (': I sort of miss those days, really. But then we got separated because Magsim was being a >:(
HAHAHA OMG WE HAD CHINESE ORAL I REMEMBER THIS:
I THINK I FLUNKED CHINESE ORAL OMGZ. Laoshi looked so grim, shitshitshit. I don't think I said enough. I don't think I read well enough. So stuttery. AND I got a different question from the rest omg omg omg WHY. Dead. After Oral ran down to the staff room to call Mrs Lau HAHAHAHA. She came out with food. LOL sat down at the benches outside the staff room, told her about oral and she looked like she was in complete disbelief when I told her I didn't get what Laoshi asked me.
"Uh uh my question was something about qing shao nian and them posting their pictures up on the web and their ying she"
"Huh? Ying she?"
"Yeah something like that?? I don't know :("
"OH YOU MEAN YING SI!?"
From then on I found out that privacy in Chinese = Ying si. HAHAHAHA.
Anyway, this month I got pretty low at some points, in May as well. But I'm so glad I had you to bring me up after getting so upset, and truly, you are the best person God blessed me with this year (': <3 MUCH LOVE. Also, I received my best cuddly friend this month HAHAHAHA.

May, WAH MAN I WAS EMO. HAHAHAHA. I think May & June = the epitome of my emotionalness. HAHAHA. Yup, I think I had a lot to deal with la and I just didn't choose the right way to deal with everything that was going on. Again, I'm so glad I had someone with me through everything, and finally, I got over it :-) WHOOO. Anyway I had so many emo tumblr pictures on my blog in May, and less of blogging of what actually happened. So yup, I was emo emo emo.
AND THEN TADA, SL INTERVIEW RESULTS CAME OUT. I really wanted to see my name on that piece of paper that was going to be put up, but I didn't know if I actually made the cut. I was just so surprised to see my name there, and I was so happy. There were to be 20+ SLs, and there were slightly over 30 names there. This means that I stood a pretty high chance in the SL-to-be department yes?
FLEWWWW out of the computer lab to check SL Interview shortlisting results WOOOOOOO got through (': Praise the Lord yayyyy! Interview this Wednesday okay okay happy happy.
I was really happy, and then I got interviewed by Ms Lau (;
ANTM results also came out! I think I went mental, we were having Math in the computer lab, and I swear, I started screaming like there was no one else in the room HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA SHUCKS. But yea, Camel, Sam & I were pretty intense over the results,
America's Next Top Model, Cycle 16 is the sixteenth cycle of America's Next Top Model and the tenth season to be aired on The CW network. It premiered on February 23, 2011.

The winner will receive a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics, a contract with IMG Models, the cover of Beauty In Vogue and fashion spreads in Vogue Italia and Beauty In Vogue.

All three permanent judges from the previous cycle – Vogue editor-at-large AndrĂ© Leon Talley, photographer Nigel Barker and Tyra Banks herself – remain.

The catch phrase for this cycle is "Rainy Day Women". The international destination for this cycle is Marrakech, Morocco, making this the show's first visit to the Arab world and the second time to Africa, the first being in Cycle 4, where the show visited Cape Town, South Africa. This is also the second season not to feature a casting episode, only preceded by Cycle 2.

The winner was Brittani Kline from Beech Creek, Pennsylvania.
SEE THAT RIGHT THERE. HAHAHAHA.
Omgoshhhhh, then came OBS. I THINK I NEARLY DIED IN OBS. I cried on the first day and I missed people so intensely because we were cut off from society and I was so miserable. But it got better as the days went on, so I think it was okay. I would never want to do OBS again, but I felt it was a good experience, its not everyday that you get to do things like that, so I think that I really did treasure the experience. 5 days of trekking like 10km, kayaking for 5 hours until my arms nearly fell off, eating happy food for breakfast + lunch and getting so sick of biscuits and tidbits after, cooking our own food and pitching our own tents, nearly getting stuck by lightning. BUT DUDES WE MADE IT BACK ALIVE, and it just made me treasure Singapore so much more, and I realised just how blessed I was, materialistically. :-)

ANYWAY OBS was a really great experience and I had the best time with my beloved group MAGELLAN :) Cooking maggie mee and sardines and stuff with solid fuels and bricks in the dark, pitching tents in the weirdest places (we slept in a valley, block 5, in the middle of a jungle near camp 1, and on the top of a hill that had 101 steps leading up to it, yup, all four nights!).

We kayaked for 16km for about 5+ hours straight from camp 1, all the way to this island on the other side of Pulau ubin, where we made one big turn, stopped for lunch by rough-tubbing in the middle of the ocean while catching food our instructors tossed out to us, and then proceeded to kayak back to camp 2 where we sang High School Musical songs like "I want fabulous!" or "We're all in this together once we know who we are we're all stars and we see that" and having Dilys impersonating Mrs Chong and her queer life stories HAHAHAHA laughed until I almost capsized hehe.

We walked for about 6 hours too? For about slightly less than 10km, according to Chloe, with backpacks that weighed so much you couldn't sit down and stand up to lift it up because you would simply NOT BE ABLE TO STAND UP and how we all had to hunch our backs because if we kept our backs straight, our bags were heavy to the extent that we would fall backwards. We sat under a hut and talked about random things and told stories and jokes and riddles while waiting out the rain, went to the highest point in Pulau Ubin, and walked and walked and walked but it was pretty fun we were singing songs! Went alphabetically!

SLC! A crazy CRAZY CRAZY 4 days, but an experience I would not trade for anything else. Got to work with student leaders from other schools, and had so much fun writing our action paper and chilling and playing games. Also, I found out I WAS GOING TO BE AN SL, and I couldn't have been happier (': So my first task as an official SL was to go for the conference, and really, it was both a culture shock and a super fun experience. Also, through SLC, I got really really close to Grace, and like we have been since then! So it was so fun :-)

June holidays! Its during the holidays when my mood goes downhill, and I just have so much time to think about things that should not have been thought about. Looking back, I really didn't know how blessed I was, in terms of who was there for me. If I knew what was going to happen a few months later, maybe I would have tried harder at being happy, at cherishing who and what I had. I think I went out quite a bit, but other than that, I remember having a phase, the last week of the holidays I think, when I was so tired and emo that I just stayed at home and locked myself in my room the entire day and moped around and was quite selfish, at that point.
But I emerged out of it a happier person, so June was a turning point.

And then school reopened and the thing called RYC happened. HAHAHAHAHHA. RYC was CRAZY, I was put into the log comm, and the log comm did a lot of sai gang. HAHAHA. But it was so fun. We stayed back until 6 everyday doing paper mache and painting and gluing in the art room on the fourth level, and sometimes before school we would be up there. IT WAS CRAZY PREP OK. But my log comm was amazing, y'all are dedicated lovelies. <3 I didn't post much during July, and I think this was why. Term 3 was the craziest term of the year, but it was also the term I enjoyed the most, where SLship for this year was at its peak, my studies were all good, and my relationships were at their best as well. I loved Term 3.
Anyway back to RYC, IT WAS CRAZY HAHAHAHA, we were crazy workers though. We went for games trial, all around Singapore, and that was so fun :-) The RYC teachers were the sweetest, they always made sure we were well fed, and they were a fun bunch as well, so RYC was not something I will forget. The actual RYC itself was so fun, even though I had limited time with my group, fell asleep during the talks because we were all so tired, ate so much good food HAHAHAH, sat at guilin with Nat and Liz Boey for hours as it was our station for amazing race, having the final dinner in a big table with some of the SLs + prefects, IT WAS AN AMAZING TIME, and it was the first HUGE project I've done. I'll never forget RYC. In fact, I'm wearing the RYC shirt now. :-)
CHINESE OS ORAL HAHAHAHAHAH. The examiners were laughing at me, and I put in so much effort into prepping for oral. We shall all soon find out if the effort we have put into our Chinese Os grades really paid off. (: But we got quite an alright topic, so PTL for that!

Then July ended and August began, things got CRAZIER.
AND WHEN RYC ENDED, WHEN WE THOUGHT THE MADNESS WAS ALL OVER. Wham, WHADDUP ND COMM 2011. HAHAHAHHA. We had to juggle national day + it was the few weeks leading up to CT3, so you would think we were freaking out. We were quite aghast at some of the Sec 3s' attitudes, but in the end, they made us proud. I LOVE MY ND COMM I SWEAR, I LOVE MLGI, I LOVED PLANNING NATIONAL DAY OMGOMGOMG TOO INTENSE THE LOVE . HAHAHAHAHA. This comm was my favourite comm to work with by far, and I had so much fun walking into the hall LIKEABOSS before we had our rehearsals, complaining about being hobos because we were starved + cold, using the mic like crazy with Tessa while trying to get the Sec 3s to settle cuz it was so fun, and being I/c of such a wonderful bunch was GREAT. Being I/C is really really fun, although taxing, and I'm so glad for this opportunity to work with all of them. :') GO ND COMM I LOVE YALL LONG TIME OMGGG HAHAHHAHA this fueled my love for SLship. And I was so glad when Mrs Lau told me the concert was amazing after that :') And the concert went SO smoothly, there were no hiccups, no delays, we even ended early! AAAAAAHHHH I LOVE YALL. HHAHAHAHA.
Then comes the second part of the day, staying back in school for all sorts of various reasons, and of late, for National Day. I can't say that I'm the most patriotic person, and I can't say that this task given to me, to head the planning committee, has drained me of a lot of time and energy, but yet at the same time, I love doing this, I love being busy and preoccupied, and on top of all of that, I love the people that I have spent so many afternoons with the past three weeks after school. Tessa, Bev, Berenice, Kristin, Lisa. You guys are the most amazing people to work with, from WALKING INTO THE HALL LIKABOSS, to laughing at MLGIs, to stressing over deadlines, complaining and whining about how hungry and cold we are like full-fledged hobos, running all over school and having countless meetings outside the staffroom in the morning, and just laughing a lot sometimes. You guys, I know we're going to do such a good job on Monday. And I can't ask for better people to spend my afternoons with.

And by God's grace, I studied sufficiently and did well for my CT3. I think God's favour has been upon me so much this year and I'm so blessed by Him (': REALLY, HE IS SUCH A GREAT GOD. I think August was amazing too.
I think August was a really good month for me. REALLY REALLY GOOD. And gosh, I wish I treasured it more. Really. I wish I could turn back time, relive August just one more time before finally letting it go. It was just so surreal, the way things went so amazingly.
THEN CAME TDAY PRACTICE (:
Stayed back for Teachers Day rehearsals. The SLs met at the trellis, and we proceeded to teach the people who weren't present on Monday the dance moves at the steps of the quadrangle next to the trellis, and the adjoining grass patch, and had such a good time in general laughing at each other/ourselves. SLs, you guys really make my day all the time, I love all of you :3
MOVES LIKE JAGGER, GUYS, MOVES LIKE JAGGER. Had so much fun putting up a performance for teachers day with the SLs, you guys are such a blessing (':

September!
Teachers Day! THANK YOU MY BELOVED TEACHERS I LOVE (most of) YOU ALL. I think MG teachers are the best, seriously, they're so great. (': They're really really dedicated and most of the time it comes to the point where they're like your friends as well as your teachers, (':
Thank you to all my teachers (who probably won't be reading this so I will tell them when I see them, hopefully HAHAHA since Teacher's day would be over by the time i did and all) for all your patience and how you taught me, because I totally wouldn't have gotten as far as I am without all (most) of you! :-) Thank you all for caring and for putting up with my nonsensically long answers that basically just go round and round and round the same point, except i phrase it differently. Yeeeeep. HAHAHA. And thank you, some of you, for being so sweet and caring. And for making lessons so so fun that I really can't fall asleep. (; Today/tomorrow is your day, so take it to rest well and enjoy yourselves, and know that all your students really appreciate what you've done for them. Happy Teachers' Day! ☺♥♡

Everything went fine and dandy, skipped through my September holidays.
And then Term 4 started and everything went d

I was so so so so upset for the next 2.5 weeks I couldn't study straight and I was yeaaaah. HAHA I think it was the lowest point of my 2011, because I had felt the pain of lost. And yaaa, hahaha i think I was moving around quite lifelessly, trying to put on a smiley face when really, I inside I was just screwed and upset and I hated the world and I wanted to simply, die. This was also due to the fact that EOYs were coming up, and I was really stressed out about that as well.
Then I stopped blogging.

But praise the Lord really. Everything worked out fine in the end, and I'm so glad that it did. (': And I did well for EOYs, even if I do say so myself, because after that period, I worked my ass off to get my studying right again, but really, it was more of God's grace shining upon me, HE IS SO GREAT. He's seen me through my entire 2011.Anyway, it was really new, doing our EOYs in the hall instead of in the classroom, but it was an experience. :-)

OCTOBER started with EOYs (refer to above paragraph) and ended with EE (':
LTC 2011, AMAZEBALLS. HELLO CARNELIANS I LOVE YALL. I had so much fun faciling, so much fun with my fellow SLs and some of the prefects, and I have learnt so much. A year ago I would not have expected myself to be the running LTC alongside my lovely SLs + prefect friends. But so many bonds were built over the team time our kids got to discuss their project, over meal times, games, free time (AHAHAHHA I remember when my group sat in the quad before mass dance, after amazing race and they told me SO MANY LAME JOKES, make me laugh so so so hard, showed me magic tricks because I was so easily amused and just having a good time altogether.) I can't wait to see how our Sec 2s turn out, these will be the people we are passing on our baton to, and I hope they have as much passion and love for the school like we have.

EE was indescribable. HAHHAHA I'm going to describe it what am I talking about. I had so much fun, and I made new friends on the trip as well. I felt so blessed, thank you daddy, for sending me to EE. Thank you God, for healing all the sick people and bringing all of us back healthy (: I really saw History come alive, concentration camps, the Berlin Wall, and learnt so much about European countries like Poland, Leipzing, Berlin, and I had a decent exposure to music as well! The trip achieved its learning goals, and I had so much fun singing along the streets of Poland, pigging out to European food until I literally got sick of it, rooming with Auntie Bev and karaoke-ing in the night HAHA, shopping SHOPPING with crazy berenice HAHAHA, and shopping with the teachers at our last stop (': It was crazy crazy crazy, but it was so worth it. ROCs 3 EE 2011 <3

And so, December, we've reached the end of 2011. We have a day left. Make it count (:
I'm going to post my people post HAHAH the people dedication post soon <3
Goodnight all

icing

Hellooo,

I spent today with Liz :-) We had lunch at Subway @ BTP :-)! We took the cornerest corner seat so that they wouldn't spot us studying HAHAHA. I love Subway because it tastes so goooood and you know there are not a lot of fats in it :-) HEHE. Caught up over lunch, omzynomzy! :-) Hehehe, it was a good time! Liz drank too much coke and had to pee. Twice. I didn't pee at all. I can hold my pee very well because I'm usually too lazy to go to the toilet to pee. Those previous sentences were very awkward. HAHA.

And then we proceeded to studying. I tried doing some Bio, did a little of cells. I read through, and I got those omg-i-totally-know-this-but-when-I-close-my-file-and-try-to-apply-I-cannot-remember moments :-((((( Talked a lot about random stuff so we did more talking than actual studying HAHAHA BUT WHATEVER, at least I read something! I'm so easily distracted its not even funny :-( Did a little Chem, ABS! Recapped stuff and floated around to Metals, tralala. Talked some more, hehehe.

Spontaneously decided to drop by Liz's to bake pink cookies :-) So whilst she was draw the cross section of skin (OR SOMETHING IDK HAHA), I skipped (not literally) on along to Fairprice Finest to get red + green food colouring & icing sugar (which we later went absolutely crazy with). Came back, gathered our things and we left! Walked back to Liz's, but we detoured because we wanted to walk past Zorbing (our original plan), also, I wanted to show Liz the cool traffic light outside MG. HAHAHAH the flashing green man with the underwear ONLY IN MG K HAHAHA. :-) Walked and walked and walked, we could see the new hip canteen floor from where we were walking ;-)

Finally got to Liz's and we began baking! :-) It was quite fun because we molded heart shapes and stuff out of our cookies :-) Fun! Talked a bit to Liz's family whilst we were baking HAHAHA it was quite fun! And then we went crazy with the icing. Towards the end we were literally just talking and splashing icing all over the cookies HAHAH IT WAS CRAZY checkit.

Liz COVERED a cookie with green icing, and topped it off with some yellow icing out of a tube (she says its a banana. It totally isn't lor.) specially for Mrs Lau HAHAHAHA. Talked and talked until she finally had to get ready for dinner, so I walked to KAP to wait for my dad to pick me up :-)

Tonight was a good night after taking a turn for the worse, I've missed you loads and loads, thanks for making my night :-) <3 (I know you stalk me therefore you will read this HAHAHAHAHA love youuuu & I know you can do it!) :') :') :') Also, I repainted my nails. I made them look like the sky (Hopefully they look like the sky to all of you HAHAHA, gosh I am so proud of myself even though I'll only keep these nails for 4 more days before I have to take them off, meh)

We're approaching the last two days of 2011, make them count.
Also I really have to start on my 2011 post. Its going to be a long one, brace yourselves :-) Tomorrow I have plans to like study, seriously, and then I'm accompanying my brother to SJI (again) so he can attend talks to inform him of SJI... Stuff. HAHAHA.

Someone who has made your life worth living.
This is a hard question. I don't think any person (HUMAN BEAN!) has made my life worth living? I think God has made my life worth living, since I know I am called for a higher purpose for Him and really He is all I need :-)

Short term goals for this month and why
This month is ending in 3 days can I do for next month (January 2012) instead HAHA okay I'm just going to do it anyway.
1. Juggle SL stuff + school work
(Side note: DON'T TEAR HAIR OUT (read: don't MAKE ME TEAR MY HAIR OUT) OVER BANDAGE THANQ)
2. Work hard @ school, SEC 4 IS LIKE SPEEDY TRAIN x1897092
3. Be happy + optimistic ^_^
4. Grow closer to God
5. Do not go crazy HAHA.
6. Grow slimmer due to small canteen servings + stress + lack of lunch due to afternoon commitments in school HEHEHEHEHE.
Today I went back to school to study! Managed to drag my fat ass out of bed at 8AM even though I really wanted to sleep some more, I was like half dead HAHA. Got to school @ 9, made a pit stop at the Esso petrol kiosk (Cheers!) to get beibeimian hehehe :3

Met Grace and went up to our hobo spot! We started off with a bit of Chem, and Ms Kek came along! :-) We helped her label CDs. HAHAHA. She burned some kiddy Chinese learning thing into 50 CDs so she needed help labelling them, and I, armed with my sharpies could! HAHA. Had fun la, labelled CDs, wrote Chinese for the first time in, idk how long HAHAHA, and talked :-) I told Ms Kek & Grace the coming (PUN) joke that Mrs Choo told us during class AND THEY DIDN'T GET IT. LMAOOO.

Also, Grace gave me presentssss :-) Thanq bb :-)

Also, whilst I was drifting around doing SS, Ms Koh comes along and I'm all HI MS KOH and she goes "AUNTIE YOU'VE BEEN SITTING HERE FOR 3 WEEKS NEVER GO HOME RIGHT?!?!?!?" HAHAHAAA. I love our MG teachers srsly, they're the best (': Amazeballs and everything, hehehe. Ya okay so we continued doing work, I tried doing Deterrence + Diplomacy + whatever nonsense LMAO. Got bored, did some Chem, bla bla bla.

Then we had lunch! Ms Kek let us into the staff room so we could get hot water for our beibeimian TANQ MS KEK. :-) Ate @ the trellis and roamed around school, looking for working vending machines HAHA. We met the SALT girls whilst walking around! :-) Caught up a little with Charrrr. :-) I miss Charmaine!!! She's so qt. "Did you go anywhere during the holidays?" "Uhhh... Dehli? :-)" HAHAHA. Can't wait to see her + Keren (KEREEENNN. And Billy of course. You can't forget Billy!) + Kristin + Andrea Wong + Megxie + Jiayi + Claris next year :)))))) Heheh okay.

NAT GAVE ME CAKE. Omnom. Cake. Nat baked cake I ate cake Nat baked HEHEHE. Sat around the trellis and talked, moved back up to the staff room and discussed History with Nat. We went down to the tracks to try to run. FAILED :-( HAHA. I failed la I only ran two rounds because I got extreme stitches SUXXXX :(((( But Nat was full onz man, Gracey ran 3. That is all. We went into the bbcy cuz it started raining, talked a bit, Nat went home!

Returned up to outside the staff room with Grace, where Grace finished her Chem mindmap, while I fell asleep for half an hour HAHAHAHA. I'm such a pig, really. Went home after that :-)

Didn't do much for the rest of the day, really. I am such a fatty I desperately need to slim down. BUT WHADDUP I FINISHED MY CHEM MINDMAP I am a happy gurl. Now all I need to do is ask Mrs Lau for help in redox teehee luv herrrr. ;) Okay I'm going to end off with a picture of MG #schoolpride HAHAHA. There's grass growing on the quad - we have not stood on the quad for like 2 months hehe

the late christmas dinner

Hello!

In the morning, I, being the good sister I am, accompanied my brother to settle his appeal stuff, get his appeal letters signed, booklist and allz. WASIAO he's buying our O level Chem + Physics textbooks + our Sec 2 history textbook my mouth fell open manz. BUT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS DAY, I CAN FINALLY GIVE MY PRECIOUS SEC 2 TEXTBOOK AWAY Its filled with all my notes it is one of my prized nerd possessions.
We went to SJI > Fairfield > SJI. So my brother is a Josephian. Good job braawwww.

However, I was dragged out of bed at 7.30, I slept at 1.30 the previous night I am dying right now HOW AM I GOING TO SURVIVE SCHOOL LIDDAT AH. I usually only sleep for 5 hours on school days. Or less. Le Sigh. We shall see.

Ryanny's today! :-) For our CG Christmas party/gathering/lunch/dinner/WHATEVER HAHAHHAA. Okay! So got to church at about 1? Ryan, Kaishiong & Tze Jun were there, Ryanny went to borrow board games from the church office, :-) Then we went to Ryannyyyy's. The walk up the hill is tragically tiring, HAHA VERY STEEP LA.

Ya okay so we slacked. Ate snacks and.... Stared @ each other, until Ryanny decided to switch on his TV. So, clearly, the boys made the mistake of letting me have the remote control, so I made them sit and watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse with me and act like small children ("YAAAAAYYY MICKEY") and following that wonderful Halloween Special, Spongebob! :-) KAISHIONG SPONGEBOB SUPPORTER: "Quite nice what" HAHAHAHA, whereas on the other hand, you should've seen Ryan's face. It was a mix of amusement + astonishment. HAHA.
Ryan then saved himself from the pain of watching kiddie shows (He can already legally drink alcohol HAHAHA) and set up his Wii! :-) Watched him play FIFA '12 with Kaishiong I have never really appreciated soccer. Watched anyway, it was quite exciting la HAHA. When you watch the people play it. With the controller and all.

HEHE okay, so Yongxiang + Yi Herng came over the next half an hour (or so) and I had so much fun playing Wii Sports with them HAHAHAH. FUN FUN. I played Wrestling with Kaishiong and I wooooooon. HAHAHA. And then Ryan VS Yongxiang and Ryan VS Yi Herng RYAN VERY INTENSE WITH THE WRESTLING HAHAHA. Played other sports like Tennis (I suck), Baseball (I suck even more. But then its okay, Yi Herng sucked too ITS SUPER HARD TO WHACK THE BALL HAHAHA), & Bowling (wah this. I suck at bowling in real life but I'm so good at it on Wii Sports HAHAHAHA)

Krissy came! She got both of us matching shirts from Bangkok HAHAHA gotta luv that gurllll. :-) Wearing with her on Saturday for service! TEEHEE. And then we took photos (typical of Kristel Tan.)

Following that, we (Ryanny Krissy Vicky & I HAHAHA) played this UGLYDOLLZZZ card game! It was sort of like Hali Gali (if you are from church you would know this game dang well HAHA)

So the aim of the game was to go in rounds opening cards one by one. So like if there are three of the same species/kinds of monsters, you have to like grab the cards HAHAHA -if two people grab it at the same time, the first person that goes "UGLY UGLY UGLY" gets the card, and the one with the most number of cards at the end is the winner. We played four rounds and I won 2 wheeeeee HAHAHA. It was super hilarious, lots of screaming, "UGLYUGLUGLYYYYY"s, and snatching involved (Ryan joined in the fun and screamed like a girl) HEHEHE, fun fun fun :-)

We went up after that, to Ryan's study, where I attempted to play the guitar, my fingers are crazy spasmy and I can't seem to remember how to play the chords ): Lousyyy :-( HAHA, anyway, it was pretty fun trying at the very least. Looked through Ryan's vacation photos HAHAHA JACELYN IS SO CUTE I LUB HER SHE GAVE ME A CARD + A CUPCAKE ERASER FOR CHRISTMAS gotta luv that qtpie omg omg squeezy cheekz. HARHARHAR. Check Jacelyn's WALL of art works omg its so nice I want to do that to my room walls as well

Its so pretty right!

Anyway, Krissy and I went down and started playing on the grand piano! (Actually Kristel played on the piano, I cannot play the piano, so I sang HAHA I know how to sing a lot of songs, by heart, for some of them, I might add) We sang + played to songs like Love Story, Perfect, Fix You, (we tried) A thousand miles, etc etc etc :-) Played on the piano for about an hour or so! And then we got the entire CG together and we watched.....

BLACK SWAN. I shudder just thinking about it. I think I spent half the movie closing my eyes/hiding my face/looking away/covering my face with my hair/ whatsapping about how scary it was. HAHAHAH. It was really super creepy, her hallucinations are insane, it was pretty explicit as well. I think I nearly died watching the movie. Some scenes were so horribly explicit (to this my dear friend whatsapped me to video it for her so she can explain it to me some day HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA)
Minwei came shortly after the movie started i miss yooouuuuuu.
I am never watching this movie ever again because I barely lived through it without suffering from any form of emotional distress/trauma. HAHA. SHUCKS PLEASE DON'T WATCH IF YOU ARE A SCARDEY LIKE ME + if you have a low self esteem. Watching Natalie Portman dance so dang well + being super duper skinny will really just bring down your self esteem HAHAHA.

We had dinner as a CG sitting around the feast that was laid before us on Ryan's dining table, he always has such a feast when we go over THANQ RYANNY. So Ben told us about AIDS patients and doctory stuff it was quite cool HAHA the rest were just being quite hilarious, random conversations here and there :-) My parents came soon after, and then I left them :-(

My CG is such amazing company, I LOVE Y'ALLLLLLLLL had a really really good day with you guys :-)

Tomorrow, I'm going back to school (I removed my rainbow nail polish GOODBYE RAINBOW NAILS HAHA) with Grace to study wheeeeeeee. I'm going to do SS and Chem and idk we'll see. I have SS + History retest Y U COMPULSORY. Nicole says that retests are so we will study over the holidays. WHICH IS WHY I'M NOT STUDYING HAHAHAHAHHA. School @ 9 die alr. I hope I see my teachers since we're going to sit outside the staffroom I HAVE MISSED THEM (some of them la. Not all. HAHAHA) I hope Ms Koh comes out and goes all "HELLO STILL HERE?" HAHAHAHA.

Ok night

Vhaddup people,

So like I'm currently sitting in this cafe (it's a really cool cafe) at Marine Parade CC being very bored. It's some sort of gathering, my parents' friends, so the adults are all like talking away about who knows what, and their children are all mostly below the age of 10, therefore different wavelengths of life. So I am like sitting in the corner doing naaaathing. Meh meh. In other news, the food here is darn good omg. Had Sheperd's Pie & Baked rice (I shared with my brudder of course, I don't want to grow fat HAHAHAHA) IS LIKE HEAVENNN LMAO. Yessss okay the whole cafe smells like food now. I AM STILL HUNGRAY O WHY AM I SO PHATTY LOL.

Anyway, had a pretty uninteresting day. My brother woke me up for no particular reason at like 10.30AM. I slept at 2.30, 3AM last night? Screwing up my sleep cycle right before school starts lmao :( I DON'T WANT SCHOOL TO START I am so dreading Sec 4, but aiya. We shall see. Okay anyway, woke up at 10.30, played Sims on the PSP, rolled around and went for lunch at IMM. Then went back home, played some more Sims, rolled around some more, and then we came here. So I am at the other side of singapore eating. And being bored. And blogging. Also I have no photos today :(

I AM SO FAAAAAATTTTTTTTTV PFLLWMFKWMFKWKFKWKFMRKF

That is all.

Christmas and the day before

Hello!

As I type this, it is 12:44AM, 26 December HAHAHA. O well.

24 December,
I don't remember doing much except going to church! Hahaha oh yes, before that, I went to the hospital! (#1: Do people in the hospital know its Christmas? Okay, that's a dumb question, 90% of them probably do. In the past week, I've been to the wards for the elderly, say, 3 or 4 times, an hour or two each time? I wonder if they celebrate Christmas there. I wonder if they're happy. I wonder if they know that God loves them. Or if they're just, I don't know, there. Existing. Sigh. O well, pray!)

ANYWAY, church service :-)

This is Linx's cow hand puppet. Which he gave away, but. HAHA. (This is my only photo of the day. MEHHHH, took another polaroid w Jess too though! ^_^ Essep Jess goes, "I'M NEVER TRUSTING A GUY TO TAKE A PHOTO EVER AGAIN!" Lmao!) It meows, because Linx intended it to meow. HAHAHA. Linx spent the whole time before service started prodding us (Hannah & I) with his cow and tiger hand puppets. HAHAHA. It was quite funny laaaa. He can meow very well, I must say. ANYWAY (-:  Service was gooooooood. As usual, (: Today was evangelistic, God moves mightily! :-)
After service, burst into the worship hall w Ryanny with Leen's cake! HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUNNNN. :-)

25 December (it is not exactly today, because its past midnight)
I regret not going to church in the morning :-(
Thought #2, this holiday, I have spent a lot a lot more time with my church friends than my school friends. Usually, for me at least, its the other way around. But like, the past two months, apart from seeing them every Saturday, we have like random outings and stuff. Hahaha, whereas I have yet to meet up with my school friends (not counting the times we went back to do homework LMAO). Idk, my church friends are really really great company. And they're so so so sweet, forever making me laugh & always caring, people you can count on to pray for you and lead you back to God. :-) I love y'all, really. (L). I've grown closer to so many people over the span of this year, in church. Aaaah, you guys are the best (:

Didn't have a great Christmas. Whatever. Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus, how God so freely gave us love that we don't deserve, yup, so it doesn't really matter how my day went because really, God has already blessed me with so much, and this is His day (; Also, I had matcha ice cream, swam it off, and bought Green Eggs & Ham at 3 BUXXXX (I tried rhyming on twitter. Grace, Liz & Jess joined in LOL)

Matcha + Green eggs & ham. Realise that everything is green? ;)

Had an extended (thank goodness my Christmas is saved) fam dinner :-) I love my ahmaaaa (both ahmas YAYZERS). My aunt is always interested in what goes on during Youth, and I watched How To Train Your Dragon + Tangled wheeeeeee. Watched tons of movies recently, lmao! Potatoes gonna potate (I LOL EVERYTIME I SEE THIS)
wheeeee ok.

Some partay with parents' friends tomorrow (all their kids are so youuung. Like primary school. I'm gg to be Sec 4 next year *old old* EH I DON'T WANT 4I CAN I WANT 2I HAHA)
& CG CHRISTMAS PARTY AT RYAN'S ON THE 27 (TUESDAY) HAMANA, Christmas dinner! ANY FOOD AT RYAN'S IS ALWAYS SUPER GOOD HAHAHA, go Ryanny! :-) HEHEH, I can't wait I lobe my CG big tyyyme.
kk I'm starting to type all weird. Its 1:30! :-) Way to screw up your sleep cycle by pushing back your bed time a week before school starts HAHAHAHA.

BYE BYE

darling, everything's on fire.

Hello,

Today I went to watch Arthur Christmas + roam around Vivo (especially Toys R Us, that place never loses its magic. We had a lot of fun there with the toys, o how I wish I were still a kid) with Kathleen Julia Jacelyn Rachel :-) It was quite fun, they were great company, wonderful people to be childish with. Also, Arthur Christmas wasn't half bad. It was hilarious, actually, and I wanted to cry towards the end (as with every movie I watch). Also, Julia & I snuck Subway into the theater because we had no time to eat. Hehhh.

Also it rained like crazy today. Bruno Mars is smart.

Thirdly, Melanie won X Factor :-) It did not come as a surprise to me, after the revelation of the top 3. I watched the results show, twice. Hahaha, I'm a little upset that X Factor's over now. :-( I really like X Factor. I mean, it is usually the highlight of my day, heh. You see the look on their faces when they sing and its like a. aaaah, why am I so talentless LOL. (Its okay, God blesses us all with different strengths haha) b. they are really enjoying themselves, this is what they really want. c. it gives you goosebumps, sometimes. I'm glad Melanie won. She deserves it. I can't wait to see how she turns out in the industry :-) The last time the person I wanted to win won a reality show competition, was Brittany from cycle 16. I wonder how she's doing :3

Anyway, photos from today: (yay instagraaaam)

Kathleen's adorbz stickers from China!

It was a good movie. All Past VS Present. Crazy cool, their take on how Christmas works and all.
Also, I can relate. I know what its like to look up to & love someone only for them to let you down in the end because they're not who you thought they were.

My ahma's birthday present to me :-) <3

New markers.

I love this song I love Taylor Swift please listen to it. Yup, I listened to it the first time and fell in love with it. I've been listening to it since after the X Factor results show (Oh I must go up and elaborate on this, it is important! At least to me.) Here goes oh how I love Taylor Swift.

I remember tears streaming down your face
When I said, I'll never let you go
When all those shadows almost killed your light
I remember you said, Don't leave me here alone
But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight

Just close your eyes
The sun is going down
You'll be alright
No one can hurt you now
Come morning light
You and I'll be safe and sound

Don't you dare look out your window darling
Everything's on fire
The war outside our door keeps raging on
Hold onto this lullaby
Even when the music's gone

Just close your eyes
The sun is going down
You'll be alright
No one can hurt you now
Come morning light
You and I'll be safe and sound

Just close your eyes
You'll be alright
Come morning light,
You and I'll be safe and sound...

My happy streak has officially been broken, as of last night. I should not have jinxed it. Grrr. I don't know la I'm quite a jumble of emotions now. I am, as tumblr would put it, #foreveralone. Its okay if people don't put a conscious effort into understanding me, but its not okay if I don't listen to them. I feel selfish. But whatever ok. I don't want to celebrate my birthday this year anymore. If y'all are not gonna, then I don't want to too. Forever left behind, anyway. What's the point, I'm just growing older, growing up. I'm going to die anyway. I'd rather be dead, you know, physically. It'll be better. I just want to focus my life on God now, so that when I die, I'll finally be up in heaven with Him. But why is it so hard? Why do I care what they think? Why do I care if they care? Why do I need anyone to care but God? I don't know. I think I'm not putting Him first enough. Maybe that's why.
Thank you for forgetting, you used to be my best friend. I don't know if you still are. I don't know anything as of current, really. I miss you, but I don't know how you think or how you feel, and I will probably never know. Because I was never really that important to you anyway, was I.
It is so easy to slip back into temptation.

Okay goodnight. I'm going to look for stuff to study. You are not to be upset on Christmas eve.
xxxxx

registration and meatballs

Hello :-)

This morning I was brutally dragged out of bed (exaggeration) at 7AM in the morning because I was to accompany brother dearest to his new secondary school! Yup, so we got to Fairfield a little late, ;-) Because of the terribly heavy traffic plaguing the expressways at 8AM in the morning. O well. Okay, so we bustled around school a bit, brudder, fudder and I. We were led to the hall where my brother was given several forms to fill up, basic information and stuff. They gave them a stack of letters and information sheets to look at, and I looked through all of them. My brother was complaining that they didn't have a lot of CCAs. TRY MG BRAWWW we don't have a lot of CCAs as well!!!!!

Anyway we were waiting around a lot, and there were quite a number of FMPS kiddies (they aren't exactly kids anymore, are they, but still they are younger than me hee hee) running around in their yellow + blue uniforms. It doesn't look half bad, their uniforms :-) Walked around the school after getting my brother registered and everything, it seems like they are renovating their canteen as well! Their school is so big so I was whining a bit to my brother about how MG's school compound is quite small :-( And yaaaa sitting in the hall and thinking about my own Sec 1 Registration day. Okay, at first I was a little upset that I got into MG because I spent my entire P6 yearning to go to NJC, so when I found out I was going to MG (I also heard pretty bad stereotypes about girls schools) I was a bit sore. When I went for Registration, it was literally a sea of white and blue and I felt so :(((( because those are the MGP girls who already had friends and everything :( But now looking back, a lot of those stereotypes aren't the least bit true, I have come to absolutely love my school, and some of those MGPS girls turned out to be the some of the most amazing friends I've ever made, and the line that was formerly drawn between MGP and non-MGP girls was blurred :-) Also, there were teachers walking around everywhere in the school, they seemed nice, but it also made me really thankful for the teachers we have at MG because they're wonderful (': And even though our school compound is quite small, it is my second home (literally. When we were bombarded with SL projects we stayed from 6-6 THATS LIKE HALF THE DAY LMAO) and the sense of familiarity and homeliness it give me is overwhelming :") And I never never never expected, the day I first step foot in MG, that I would be an SL now, giving back to and serving the school and having SO MUCH FUN doing it. (In fact I get quite irritated with my parents when they tell me my hard work's not paid off because SLs don't get leadership points DOES IT REALLY MATTER? NO :D) Simply put, I was filled with a lot of school pride A LOT OF MG PRIDE. And at the same time I was a little upset - okay more than a little upset, quite upset - because I would be leaving MG in less than a year )':

I LOVE MG WITH ALL MY HEART (apart from the intensely strict and sometimes completely illogical school rules - such as the newly implemented one that requires all of us to wear 100% white school shoes, NO CONVERSES/NORTH STARS. GRRR)

Okay, enough of my bantering about how amazeballs my school is HAHAHAHA, we went to IKEA for lunch. O my love for IKEA food. Drool. Amazing pasta, amazing meatballs, amazingly oily yet amazing nonetheless chicken wings.

Came home and gymmed and here I am now! :-) Today I ran 3.5 + 1 km :-) I AM HAPZ W MYSELF HEHEHE. Walked around quite a bit today, to and fro various MRT stations as my father sent his car to servicing. Speaking of his car, we are going to Queenstown (again) to pick it up from the car place soon and then we are going to Raffles City to have dinner :3

X FACTOR FINALE TONIGHT!

I am quite happy with my progress - I have gone an entire week without moping around and being upset and crying over nothing like I usually do. I have spent an entire week with my emotions ranging from ok to happy. I have spent an entire week without being emo and contemplating gory things. I love my amazing God for the strength :-)

Love love!

Something you’re looking forward to this year.
This year is ending really soon! Hmm, but I'm really looking forward to what God has in store for me this year/next year. I mean, I really don't know what's going to happen but God sure knows, and I'm so so sure He's going to make the rest of 2011 and the whole of 2012 amazing for me, be it through difficult times or fun times, He's gonna be there, and that's really what I'm looking forward to - Him being with me and before me, always, no matter what :-)

Hello hello!

Before I start posting, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ONE OF THE MOST AMAZING PERSON I'VE EVER KNOWN. God bless, and loads of love always.

I'm here with photos from yesterday and today! :-) Hehe.
From yesterday (20 December)

Yesterday, I woke up and watched some TV, while my hapz brother went out to his friend's house. Slacked a lot at home yesterday, I feel very bad for wasting so much time all the time hehe, I just simply cannot get myself to pick up a textbook and study. My brain automatically switches off during the holidays BUT I'LL GET TO STUDYING NEXT WEEK, PROMISE PROMISE SRSLY I NEED. Okay anyway, went to the gym, ran about 3+km, walked 1+. :-) HAPPZZZ then went home, bathed, walked to WM to buy stamps + envelopes + gong cha! :3 Came home, finished writing my entire stack of Christmas cards and happy pappy watched TV for the rest of the day. Okay not really, got online at about 9+!
Also, talked to Leeny I've missedddd herrrrrr. :'3 Hehe. Stayed up till 12+ to send a 12AM birthday text! AND THEN talked to Sal via twitter so I ended up sleeping at 1. :((((( HAHAHAHA. I was quite tired yesterday k! HAHA.

Today! (21 December)

So today! I woke up to my dad spamming my inbox with like 3 of the same texts (for emphasis ah LMAO) that my brother got posted to..... FAIRFIELD! YAYYYY #methodistschoolpride. I'm quite happy on his behalf, seriously, because he seems quite stone about this. ANYWAYYYY texted Miss Loh and she was quite happy because she was from Fairfield LMAO. Okay.

Met up with Lisa for lunch, Tessa dearest couldn't make it :( We finally had Fatty Weng though, it was really good and I liked it! HEHE I took a photo of it, although I'm not as obssessed as Lisa, who loudly proclaimed in the middle of lunch "THIS IS THE BEST FOOD EVER"  HAHAH but it was a good lunch! I would eat it agaaaain, this time with Tessa HAHA. Walked from the market place near St Lukes where the coffee shop was to West Mall! HAD A HILARIOUS WALK THERE LOLOL hahaha, Lisa's really good company because she's so funny! Through our entire time together, we talked about SLship + (I whined about) Sec 4 + random things :-) I'm quite proud of myself for not eating carbs today (no rice, no noodles, no bread!).

Got to West Mall, went up to the post office, Lisa bought stamps so she could send a letter to her host family in Taiwan, while I posted all eleven of my Christmas letters (this is because Nicole only texted me her address AFTER I posted everything + her envelope & card was at home!). Went down to Sweetalk so I could get peach red tea (I am proud of myself for eating less than half of the pearls + not ordering milk tea because IDW GROW FAT).
headed to the library and borrowed some books (Mrs Lau would be very proud of me for visiting the library + actually borrowing books and not complaining that they are old and yellowing and smell funny HAHAHA). I got one of the books from the PLL series because I loooooove PLL (HAHAHA this comes as no surprise to whoever follows me, even though I haven't been in the I-WANNA-WATCH-PLL-SO-BAD mood recently) and Love, Stargirl! :-) Said good bye to Lisa after that, and walked home! (I am seriously walking everywhere today I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF I must have walked 3km MINUS gymming today)

Read by the poolside, and regretted not bringing my swimming gear because the weather today was FANTASTIC, it didn't rain at all and it was just nice and cloudy and cool. Went on the swings for a bit at my condo playground, it really brought me back to when I was P5 and I spent literally EVERYDAY after school with Valen drinking Oreo Crush + playing at The Swing (we had coined a name for the playground we always went to despite the lack of originality I MEAN HELLO, THE SWING?! ROFLMAO!). I think I swing very well because Valen spent the entire P5 teaching me how to :-) I sort of miss her :-( Valen, I mean. Hehehe. We used to be soooooo close in SAPS, like since P3 SHE WAS MAH BEST FWAAAAN :3 :3 :3 HAHAHAH. OKAY ANYWAY, then I went to read by the poolside, I started with Love, Stargirl, and I love it (-: so far! Headed to the gym, I actually ran 3.2km without breaking at all today, I can feel my stamina getting better! I stopped at 3.2km not because I wanted to die alr, but because my legs were dying but I wasn't running out of breath/close to having a respiratory attack HAHHA. YAY FIT. Ran another 1km, walked 1km, YAY.
And then I came back to my ahma's and here I am now :-) I am so desperate to lose weight + get fit :((((( HAHAHAHA.

OKAY! Going to Fairfield with my brawww tomorrow :-)

FUN TIMES

iridescent

Hello!

I just watched Flipped! Hahaha I was planning to watch it for a really really long time, I think, after Mrs Lau told me I should watch it because she said I would like it (which I do. She is usually right about such things) and I just remembered to resume the torrent download thingy, so I could watch it today! AND IT IS REALLY SO CUTE HEHEHE :3 I really liked it, (':

I've seen this quote somewhere before! On tumblr! Wow I never knew it was from this movie, but ya, now I know la. HAHAHA.

Aaaah HAHAHA okay this movie is like rly rly rly sweet :') And I somehow really love the way they speak HAHA like the entire movie was basically a narration by Bryce & Juli hehe. I think they have such nice voices aaah I could listen to them talking all day long! HAHAHA okay starting to sound rather freaky. But its a really really sweet movie, a nice movie to watch (': My favourite part was when Juli went with her dad to visit her retarded (I do not mean this in the mean way, I mean this in the retarded = mentally handicapped, even though it sounds really bad either way, so I think they should really come up with a different term. Being labelled a retard is not very nice when you cannot help it) uncle, and it was really sweet because right there you saw unconditional love and acceptance for what you were, no matter how he acted up, how he presented himself in public, even though its really difficult to deal. And I was really awwwww <3

OKAY NICE MOVIE. I've been watching movies like crazy HAHAHA. Let's see, Eternal Sunshine, Love Actually, A Walk to Remember, and now Flipped! All within the span of like five days HAHAHA. I might try Troy next, idk, Jess told me about it last Friday but then I told her I think of Zac Efron at the mention of the name Troy HAHAHAHA. Hmm, we'll see :-) I'll think of movies I really wanted to watch but I never had the chance to (ie. Summer blockbuster because its during the busiest period of the school year GRRRR)

Today I'm going to:
a. Go to the gym, o terrible Singapore weather, it has been raining practically non-stop the past few days, thus jeopardizing my plans to swim. Also I really want to make a point to exercise like everyday heee.
b. Buy envelopes + stamps so I can send out my Christmas cards by tomorrow.
c. Finish writing above mentioned Christmas cards.
d. Maybe get myself some gong cha, I've been cravvvving.
e. And also maybe study o joy how I love, uhm, Physics. HAHA.

Lise just whatsapped me HAHAHAHA SRSLY loving the name of our group chat (Tessa + Lise & I HAHAHA) Also, she just reminded me that I have not read the Chrysalids yet. I'm not done with the poopsie book srsly HAHAHA. O well my plan to not read until I need to read has proved to work very well.

What I have learnt the past few days, or have come to realise: That God is always with me and will go before, so I have no reason to be unreasonably upset. I LOOOOVE GOOOOD (': And really one of my resolutions for 2012 is to be a true testimony for him, no hatin'. yknw. HAHA. (':

SEE YAAALLL.
